and I have always had a mind driven by interior design.

Before becoming a full time contractor, friends of mine would hire me to consult them on their new homes - picking lighting fixtures, couches, chairs, wall colors, trim styles, surface materials, shelf arrangements - the list goes on. It wasn’t all chores to me, though. I’ve always had a passion for creating a place where a family can be cozy and - possibly even more importantly - where kids will want to return to after starting their professional lives. There is no denying the internal benefit of a house that reflects all of the qualities of a true home.

Why did I begin my professional career in interior design? I swapped, sold, bought, and scooted the furniture in our family’s home so often, our family dog started running into things when the lights were too low.
